Adult Rowing
The LCRA has several ways for adults to learn and become involved in rowing. We have our Level One for getting started and then the Level Two which is much more challenging and focuses on training for high end racing. In addition we have our independent scullers for people wanting to participate at their own pace and on their own schedule.

u Quarterly "Learn to Row" Events
These classes fill up fast. Each of these FREE session is roughly 2.5 hours and you will learn the basics on land, and then go out in a boat with other experienced oarsman for a fun "Gettin' The Basics" row. These are a wonderful opportunity to give rowing a try, make some friends, and get out in a boat. Dates/times for these events are announced through our GOROW! eNewsletter, so be sure to sign up for that (and confirm your subscription by clicking on the link in the follow up email sent to you).
u Private Lessons
These classes are a "one-on-one" lesson for personalized attention and training. Many of our rowers prefer to go out on the lake in a single (a boat for one person) and take in the scenery and tranquility of Lake Casitas. People are able to take advantage of private lessons as a fantastic way to quickly get ramped up. Lessons are $50 per hour and need to be scheduled in advance through the main office phone. A three lesson bundle is $125. We can give lessons for two or more people if you have friends or family who would like to join in. Please call for pricing. Learn to Row events, Summer classes, and sculling lessons do not require club membership. Once people have taken lessons and are proficient enough to row on their own, they can become club members and join as independent scullers.
